Saiful is an experienced trainer, facilitator, and consultant, with deep knowledge in the field of quality, environmental and occupational health and safety management system, leadership and communication. He has a great passion for training, learning and development, and is able to work effectively with people at all levels. Saiful is also an active participant in local community and social activities. Saiful delivers both educational and highly entertaining training session by incorporating experiential learning activities in all his programs.

Saiful has helped many organisations (including MNCs) in developing, implementing and maintaining their ISO9001 Quality Management System, ISO14001 Environmental Management System, ISO22000:2005 Food Safety Management System and OHSAS18001 Safety and Health Management Systems for sustainable business operation since 1996. In those capacities he had also served these organisations as a Training Director, Group Safety Manager, Principal QEHS Consultant, Trainer, and Advisor. He has also been providing clients with non-statutory OHS-related in-house training such as Risk Assessment, Effective Workplace Inspections, Fire Safety Awareness, etc.

Saiful is a Ministry Of Manpower Registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer, a National Environment Agency Environmental Control Officer, Ministry Of Manpower Noise Monitoring Officer, Confined Space and Hot works Safety Assessor, Industrial Engineer, Project Management Practitioner, International Register of Certificated Auditors Lead Auditor for ISO9001, ISO14001 and ISO 45001 Management Systems. In culinary, food and beverage, his exposure started with a certificate in food and beverage management studies from Singapore Hotel and Tourism Education Centre (SHATEC) in 1994, workshop in “Starting your own F&B Business” and “Halal Process for Business” basic course. 

Saiful has volunteered his time and professional knowledge in safety and risk management to ensure that Singapore delivers safe and enjoyable games to all the athletes, officials, and spectators at the sporting facilities during the SEA games in June 2015. Saiful’s untiring effort in supporting the operational teams in the risk assessment phase of games planning has gone on well and surpassed expectations as displayed during and after the SEA games. He has also participated and contributed in mass briefing, presentation, demonstration and experience sharing to workers and organizations in their safety campaign on a voluntary basis. He has also received awards for his exemplary contributions to safety.

Saiful has conducted many technical, soft-skills, Human Resource management and Workplace Safety and Health training courses to different industries from workers’ level to top management in Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Myanmar and Bangladesh. In consulting, he also provides consultancy to workplaces and organizations in developing, establishing and implementing their workplace safety and health management system capabilities as well as quality and environmental management system capabilities aligned to the ISO requirements and business development.
